I don't post nearly enough. I get that. I have been posting a few
pictures here and there but nothing substantial. I've been pretty busy
with school and work. Stressed as well. I am sure this is nothing new
for anyone given the economy and such. I am tired of school. December
can't come to soon.

This coming weekend I am taking a much needed mini vacation to LA. I
will most likely post many pictures since Hollywood on Halloween is
supposed to be pretty wild.

Apparently he is kennel shy which is a nice way of saying that he will rip the groomer's throat out if they get too close after putting him in the kennel. When we picked him up, I had to go back to put his collar on and such to get him out of the kennel because the groomers were pretty hesitant.

Of our New York trip. We did a lot, Manhattan, Times Square, the Hamptons and Montauk to name a few of the places we visited. We had a blast. I didn't take any pictures really so one M gets them up on her site I will link her here.

Currently, I am sitting in a diner waiting for breakfast then we get on our flight at 3:50 local time and get back home at 8:30 tonight. It's been a great trip.

A Whopper that isn't

I tried a "Veggie Whopper" from Burger King today and now I feel somewhat ripped-off. Sure, I don't eat meat but I expect that my $2 will buy me a meat-substitute. Nope. Nada. Just lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and their nasty ketchup on a bun. No boca, no garden, no seitan or tempeh, not even tofu. Grrrr. Sometimes it is hard to be vegetarian.

UPDATE: I was ripped-off. My boss (another vegetarian) said that there should have been a Morningstar Garden burger on my Whopper... GRRRR!!!

I met him today at Phoenix Cactus Comic-Con. Yes, that Wil Wheaton. He was in movies like Stand By Me and one of my favorite movies: Toy Soldiers. He was also on this show Star Trek, you may have heard of it.

I became a fan of his when I started reading his blog about 4 years back, and subsequently, his books.

(Tuvak and Checkov were also at the con but I've never read their blogs.)

Wil seemed pretty nice. It is always a good time meeting the people that your a fan of.
